What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Three Point Club endeavors to provide support for New Orleans area youth who are less able, or unable, to participate in youth sports activities, due to health reasons or other barriers, through the sport of basketball and by working with the New Orleans Pelicans, New Orleans' NBA basketball team. The activity will be conducted by members of the Board of Directors and members of the Three Point Club in the New Orleans area. Supporting local physically or otherwise disadvantaged youth through engagement in sport directly supports The Three Point Club's objectives as a social welfare organization.

Explanation:
Since the inception of the organization, we filed paper returns with the IRS. We were not aware that the 990-EZ could only be filed online and we were not aware until today that a paper return was acceptable for this tax year. We are completing all past due returns now and now have personnel in place to assist us. Due to COVID-19, the organization has been unable to provide services to the physically disadvantaged youth that our organization was created to support. Since 2020, we have not had any income or expenses due to the effects of COVID-19. We respectfully request that any penalties for late filing be waived.
