Pt VI, Line 7a	The Exalted Ruler appoints committee members and the Lodge members elect the governing body.
Pt VI, Line 7b	Members vote on changes to by-laws and vote on expenditures of funds for special projects.
Pt VI, Line 11b	The 990 is reviewed by the Exalted Ruler, Board of Directors, and Budget Committee who approve all financial document decisions before any documents are signed or released. In addition to the in-house approval, all tax forms and returns must be filed with the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks USA Grand Lodge.
Pt VI, Line 12c	In accordance with all policies and by-laws of the Grand Lodge Statutes 13.040 are regularly reviewed during formal Lodge meetings. Any conflicts or complaints must be submitted to committee in writing before seeking further counsel. If the complainant is not satisfied with the committees rulings, then the complainant may seek further counsel outside the organization. Each individual agrees to this policy before becoming a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks USA.
Pt VI, Line 15b	Members of Lodge 393 vote at a regular Lodge meeting once per year to approve the salaries of the Secretary and Treasurer of Lodge 393. These are the only two officers who are compensated.
Pt VI, Line 19	The documents are held at Lodge 393. All Lodge members and the general public may view these any time they wish during regular Lodge hours.
Pt VI, Line 6	The Elks Lodge #393 organization is made up of dues-paying members.
