Continuing Education Seminars: Georgia lawyers are required to complete a specific number of continuing education hours each year to maintain their Bar license. In FY2023, GACDL produced five continuing education seminars focused on topics specifically relevant to the criminal legal system, practice, and procedure to help its members achieve their professional licensure education mandate while also promoting the common good of criminal defense. Emergency Meetings:With the unanimous consent of the Executive Committee, the Board of Directors shall hold emergency meetings as called by the president with at least 12 hours notice to address any matter which the president deems to be an emergency that cannot be addressed sufficiently at a regular or special meeting.
