The primary focus of the Association is the development and growth of franchisee associations as trademark chapters of the AAFD. The AAFD has approximately 30 managed or affiliated chapters. The chapters are not local, but each supports a specific franchise brand or system. We promote communication, meetings and issue driven activities.

Part IV, Line 2b: Explanation of escrow account liability The AAFD maintains and accounts for separate funds created by managed chapters for various purposes such as legal funds, marketing funds and co-op funds. Each such fund is held pursuant to a separate and unique trust agreement and is supervised and directed by a board of trustees elected by each chapter's members. These funds are held in a comingled account, but accounted for separately for the benefit of each trust's participants.
