	Providing fire, rescue and emergency medical services as well as education, prevention and protection for the Town of Charlestown and surrounding communities. In addition to responding to emergencies, the members engage in numerous hours of training, learning the latest techniques, and educating the public about fire safety. The volunteer members also spend time fundraising instead of hiring a professional fundraiser. Donated monies are used to purchase supplies and maintain the emergency equipment.
