What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Colorado Respiratory Care Society promotes the professional advancement of Respiratory Therapists in Colorado through leadership, education, and innovation. We strive to provide quality care and advocate for our patients, their family members, and the communities we serve by supporting pulmonary wellness and disease prevention.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 The CRCS held three (3) one day in-person educational conferences attended by licensed respiratory therapists and respiratory therapy students in 2024 (Northern Chapter conference, Metro Chapter conference, and the Southern Chapter conference). The CRCS also hosted a 2-day State-level conference in Blackhawk, Colorado. All of the conferences provided multiple respiratory care related presentations with expert speakers. Approximately 500+ attendees total between all four events.
