Part VI, Section B, Line 1 The work of the Westhaven Water Supply Corporation is overseen by the five Directors of the governing body for the benefit of all the members of the corporation and for the Employees and Contractors who serve the corporation in its maintenance work to provide a water supply for the members of the corporation who own property in the subdivision.
Part VI, Line 2 Licensed Water Operator Thurman Skip Smith is a Board Director and is married to Tammy Smith who is also a Board Director and the Billing Services Manager. Both are residents and property owners in Westhaven Subdivision.
Part VI, Line 6 All homeowners who have water service are voting members of the Westhaven Water Supply Corporation; all members must own property in Westhaven Subdivision.
Part VI, Line 7a Board Directors serve for two years; an election for board seats is held every year. Members elect the Board Directors every year.
Part VI, Line 7b Board Directors serve at the pleasure of the members of the corporation. Members elect board directors each year on a bi-annual basis. Changes to the Bylaws are approved by the Membership. Creation and Dissolution of the Corporation would be decided by the Members.
Part VI, Line 11b The completed Form 990 is emailed to each Board member for his her review.
Part VI, Line 12c We are a small community of property and work together well. Any one board member would voluntarily report any conflict of interest prior to that conflict becoming a problem for the Board of Directors or the Corporation.
