What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To empower veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Providing free, professional assistance to veterans and their families in obtaining benefits and services earned through military service and provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs and other agencies of government. Representing the interests of disabled veterans, their families, their widowed spouses and their orphans before congress, as well as state and local governments. Extending the DAV's mission of hope into communities and offering a variety of volunteer programs for veterans to participate.
