What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? We are a 501c6 Non-Profit Business League focused on bettering young professionals currently working or studying to work in the insurance industry. The organizations three pillars are networking, education and mentorship.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Our organization hosted an annual conference for Young Risk Professional local chapter leaders and chapter members across the nation. This event provided educational, networking, and leadership building for young professionals in the insurance industry. Our 2024 annual conference had over 125 attendees including several companies and motivational- type speakers in attendance. The conference included 2 full days of educational speaker sessions and activities.

29 Our organization is the National chapter. Our main purpose is to provide mentorship, resources, and facilitate connection amongst the Young Risk Professional (YRP) community. The board members and leaders of our organization hold monthly video calls with all leaders of local YRP chapters (approx 50 people). During calls we go over housekeeping items, discuss changes, conduct votes if needed, and provide guidance and mentorship. Beyond the monthly scheduled calls. We, the leaders of the National chapter, conduct additional meetings sometimes individually or in small groups providing additional mentorship to members. We, the National Chapter, also provide platforms and paid resources for all YRP chapters to use such as Eventbrite accounts, website, WIX marketing platform, ZOHO, etc. The National Chapter board is also responsible for the management and oversight of use of these platforms. Everyhting is provided at our (National Chapter's) own expense.

Form 990-EZ, Part V, Line 33 Part V Line 33: Our organization (YRP National Chapter) began hosting in-person annual conferences in 2023, which has increased the organization's gross receipts and expenses. Prior to 2023, all of our organization's initiatives and activities were conducted virtually. This is the only in-person event our organization hosts all year. The 2023 conference was very similar to the one that occurred in 2024, just on a slightly smaller scale (approx. 100 attendees). The addition of our annual conference has helped us carry out our non-profits initiative's on a much larger scale and has brought more awareness to our cause and purpose as an organization. Other than this, there have been no changes to the organization's activities.
Form 990-EZ, Part V, Line 34 Part V Line 34: The organization's name was amended from Young Risk Professionals of Texas to "Young Risk Professionals National" effective 6/28/24. This change was filed through the Texas Secretary of State office. Paperwork is attached to the beginning of our return.
