IN 2024-2025, APPROXIMATELY 2000 SECOND GRADE STUDENTS IN ELEVEN TITLE I ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS ACROSS THE ATLANTA AREA PARTICIPATED IN MILNER AWARD ACTIVITIES. THE MILNER AWARD PROVIDED TWO BOOKS TO EACH STUDENT THROUGH OUR IMPLEMENTING NONPROFIT PARTNER, PAGE TURNERS MAKE GREAT LEARNERS. STUDENTS READ AND DISCUSSED THE BOOKS IN THEIR CLASSROOMS, AND EACH OF THE AUTHORS CONDUCTED VIRTUAL CLASSROOM VISITS WITH THE STUDENTS.
