THE MUTUAL AID SOLIDARITY NETWORK HAS: - REDISTRIBUTED NEARLY THREE QUARTERS OF A MILLION DOLLARS FROM THOSE IN OUR COMMUNITY WHO HAVE EXCESS RESOURCES TO THOSE IN OUR COMMUNITY WHO HAVE BEEN DISPROPORTIONATELY IMPACTED, - HELPED MEMBERS APPLY AND SECURE OVER A MILLION DOLLARS IN HOUSING AND UTILITY AID, - AND DISTRIBUTED THOUSANDS OF MASKS AND PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE PANDEMIC AS WELL AS THOUSANDS OF LBS OF FOOD & MEDICAL DELIVERIES. ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE INTIATIVES TO SUPPORT THE SOUTHSIDE OF SANTA FE COMMUNITY RESPOND TO ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL INEQUITIES THAT HAVE COMPOUNDED OVER GENERATIONS, LEAVING FAMILIES VULNERABLE TO A RANGE OF HEALTH ISSUES SUCH AS RESPIRATORY PROBLEMS, ASTHMA, AND INCREASED RISKS OF HEART DISEASE. |
