PART IX LINE 24: EXPLANATION OF OTHER EXPENSES.	The amount of $25,000 reported in "Other Expenses" represents the application of insurance proceeds received in the prior year, which were reported as Other Income on the Form 990 for that year. These funds were related to an insurance claim for storm damage to the organization's roof. In 2023, the organization made a $25,000 down payment toward the cost of the roof replacement, gatehouse and other miscellaneous repairs. This payment was initially recorded as a prepaid asset on the statement of financial position. The roof repairs were completed and placed in service during the current tax year, and the corresponding expense has been recognized in accordance with accrual accounting principles. The purpose of reporting this expense is to properly match the timing of the insurance reimbursement with the actual repair work performed, providing a complete and accurate financial picture for the current reporting period.
