THERE ARE NINE FOOD PROGRAMS AND TWO FOOD PANTRIES PROVIDING MUCH NEEDED FOOD TO THE COMMUNITY. OVER 1,500 FAMILIES UTILIZE NATIVE HEALTH'S FOOD PANTRY MONTHLY IN MESA. ADDITIONAL COMMUNITY PROGRAMS INCLUDE INDIGENOUS YOUNG CHEFS IN THE KITCHEN, HOLIDAY TURKEY DISTRIBUTIONS, INDIGENOUS FOOD BOX DISTRIBUTION, READ IT AND EAT, AND URBAN NATIVE AMERICAN SENIOR FOOD BOXES, TO NAME JUST A FEW. READ IT AND EAT CONTINUES TO BE A POPULAR MONTHLY PROGRAM FOR FAMILIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN AT NATIVE HEALTH CENTRAL AND MESA. PARTICIPANTS ENJOY A STORY TIME, CRAFT, AND MAKE A HEALTHY, FUN RECIPE.
