Supplemental Information
Provide the information, explanation, or descriptions required for Part I, lines 1a, 1b, 3, 4a, 4b, 4c, 5a, 5b, 6a, 6b, 7, and 8, and for Part II. Also complete this part for any additional information.
Return Reference Explanation
Form 990, Part VII, Line 5: The Foundation does not directly employ or compensate any individuals, employees, officers, or directors. However, the Foundation does receive management and staffing services from employees of an unrelated organization (per definition in the IRS instructions), Dunkin' Brands/Inspire Brands, including several individuals listed in Form 990, Part VII. Some of these individuals are compensated by Inspire Brands, Inc. for services rendered to the Foundation. Those services are measured at the cost recognized by Inspire Brands Group, Inc. for the personnel providing those services, which the Foundation then reimburses Inspire Brands Group for. In 2024, the Foundation paid Inspire Brands Group $763,899 for such services. As Inspire Brands Group is assisting the Foundation with certain managerial and operating service, this Form 990, Part VI, Line 3 has been answered "Yes." However, it is not possible for the Foundation to bifurcate or assign what amount of this total cost was due specifically for managerial, directorial, or official purposes. Accordingly, the Foundation has disclosed the entire amount on this Form 990, Schedule J and Schedule O, for transparency purposes.

Return Reference Explanation
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 2 The following persons, who served on the Organization's Board during the period covered by this Form 990, shared a business relatiionship: Ashley Coneff; Kelly Fish; Jerid Grandinetti; Molly Mills; and Kristen FitzPatrick.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 3 The Foundation does not directly employ or compensate any individuals, employees, officers, or directors.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 6 The sole member of the Foundation is Dunkin'.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7b The Foundation's initial sole member has the power to remove one or more members of the Foundation's board. However, vacancies are not filled by the sole-member and the remaining board members must approve any potential nominations. Accordingly, per IRS instructions for Schedule R, the Foundation's sole member does not have a control relationship over the Foundation and is therefore an unrelated organization to the Foundation.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11b The Finance Committee and each member of the Board of Directors will review the final Form 990 and approve the final Form 990 before the return is filed with the IRS.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c The Foundation has a conflict of interest policy and an annual sign off. The board of directors is asked annually to verify and confirm that there are no new conflicts of interest, and/or to disclose any potential or new conflicts of interest that may have occurred.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 15 The Organization did not compensate its top management official or other officers of the Organization. The Organization did not have any employees during the year.
Form 990, Part VI, Section C, line 19 All documents required by law are provided to the public upon request.
Form 990, Part VII, Line 5: The Foundation receives in-kind services from volunteers, some of which are employees of an unrelated organization (per definition in the IRS instructions), Inspire Brands, Inc., including several individuals listed in Form 990, Part VII. Some of these individuals are compensated by Inspire Brands, Inc. for services rendered to the Foundation. Those services are measured at the cost recognized by Inspire Brands Group, Inc. for the personnel providing those services. Based on an analysis of the estimated percentage of time individuals who were identified as supporting the Foundation spend in a given year and the annual salary and benefits of each individual, the Foundation recognized $29,703 and $9,464 for the years ended December 31, 2024 and 2023, respectively, as revenue and expense (such items are also considered book-to-tax reconciliation adjustments and included in the amounts reported on this Form 990, Schedule D, Parts XI and XII). However, as Inspire Brands, Inc. is a taxable entity that is unrelated to the Foundation, the Foundation is not required to report an additional breakdown of these in-kind services in accordance with the taxable organization employee exception noted in IRS Instructions. Additionally, the Foundation also incurred other expenditures for labor costs and personnel resources in this tax period, though the Foundation does not retain any employees of its own. These expenditures are recognized within the Foundation's detail of expense accounts and included within total expenses reported on this Form 990, Part IX.
Form 990, Part XI, line 9: Adjustment for uncollectible pledges -9,600.
Form 990, Part XII, Line 2c: The audit process did not change from the prior year.
