Orlando Venues Department (Bloomberg Public Art Challenge) - To accept grant funds from The Bloomberg family Foundation, Inc. to be used to fund the "Art Pollination: Building Food Justice Through Creativity" public art project. This project is a temporary public art project that addresses the broad, cultural food inequity in metropolitan Orlando and seeks to garner visibility, educate, and cultivate an appreciation for and advocacy within that necessitates the delivery of healthy culturally specific food as a human right. Art installations and community engagement projects will explore habitually complex, but possibly joyful, social and ecological relationships found in food. The grant funds will cover development, execution and project-related expenditures.
