What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The purpose of this Association is to promote the improvement of the methods of governmental financing in CT as developed and recommended by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada, the Governmental Accounting Standards Board, and other recognized authorities in the field of government administration. The Association is committed to promoting professionalism and excellence in government financial management by promoting education and networking.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Provided 3 half day training opportunities for all members. All training sessions dealt with an aspect of municipal finance and CPE credits were awarded for attendance. A total of 347 people participated.
