What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The fraternal organization of Alumni Band members from West Virginia University promotes alumni participation in concerts and parade performances throughout WV and neighboring Western Pennsylvania and seeks to encourage area students to join the WVU Band Program. Our fundraising has provided resources for practice field development on campus providing meals for annual band camp and have provided financial support to the WVU Band program supporting performance in the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade and attendance at bowl games.
