Briefly describe the organization’s mission: The Hyder Community Association exists exclusively for the "betterment" of the community of Hyder, Alaska. There is a community building which contains a library, a meeting room, administration office, fire hall, and office space for the US Forest Service. Road maintenance is performed on the state owned road and snow removal is done on side streets and driveways. A small landfill and burn unit is provided for trash.

	The Hyder Department of Transportation provides road maintenance and snow removal within the townsite for the permanent residents and visitors. The Hyder Community Association provides contract maintenance work for the State of Alaska and Ascot Resources which provide jobs to Hyder residents.

	The Hyder community building houses a community meeting room, library, fire hall, and office. The grounds include parking and playground equipment. Part VI, Line 11b	The Hyder Community Association Board of Directors met on October 21, 2025 and reviewed this return. The meeting was open to the public and noticed 10 days beforehand.
Part VI, Line 12c	The Board of Directors review the conflict policy annually.
Part VI, Line 15b	The Board of Directors members serve without pay. Various paid employees are compensated based on comparable rates in Southeast Alaska.
Part VI, Line 19	The Hyder Community Association bylaws are on file in the administration office. The conflict policy is described in the association handbook and all financial statements are reviewed and approved at annual and monthly public meetings. All documentation is available upon request.
Part VI, Line 2	President Diana Simpson and Secreatry/Treasurer Richard Simpson are sister and brother in law.
Part VI, Line 6	The Hyder Community Association has members based on residency and attendance of Annual Meetings.
Part VI, Line 7a	The Hyder Community Association members nominate and elect the five board members that serve 2-year terms to conduct day-to-day business.
