What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? This is a one time a year, 3 day food and entertainment festival, with our only program service to conduct an annual festival which encourages fun and fellowship of within our community, as well as provide a resource for local charitable organizations to make money. Approximately 22,000 people attend the three day event.

Form 990-EZ, Part I, Line 5c The festival owned a portable stage that we valued at $35,592 whch was the purchase price in 2001. In 2011 there was a deadly accident at the Indiana State Fair involving a portable stage. The result of that accident was legislation that essentially made our stage obsolete, so we have been renting a stage since that date. We did finally find a buyer this year that used the stage as a portable seating platform, but the sale price was esentially the scrap value of $4,000, leading to the large reduction of our listed assets.
