What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Provide support and assistance to Veterans, their families and their communities.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 We support the American Legion a number of ways by holding funeral dinners, sponsoring events for veterans and their families, such as appreciation dinners, holiday parties, etc. We also assist veterans with specific needs they may have such as home repairs, food, clothing, rides, etc. We donate time and money to events, people and organizations in the community that our veterans are a part of. Our organization benefits 100's of people in the community we serve.
