Although the Club was granted income tax exemption by the Internal Revenue Service, the exemption does not apply to unrelated business income. Unrelated business income consists of investment income and net income derived from non-member use of club facilities as defined by the Internal Revenue Code and related regulations. As of December 31, 2020, the years 2016 through 2019 remain subject to examination by major tax jurisdictions.
