Summary of Program-Related Investments (see instructions)
Describe the two largest program-related investments made by the foundation during the tax year on lines 1 and 2. Amount
1 Redemption Holding Company: This PRI will be utilized to acquire and establish the only Black-owned Minority Depository Institution headquartered in the Mountain West. Redemption is committed to providing affordable financial services to underbanked individuals and institutions, including, without limitation, members of minority communities. Redemption also hopes to improve Black participation in syndicated lending activities by housing an MDI syndication desk. However, Redemption's financial services will be available to non-minority individuals and institutions as well. This supports the purpose of the foundation in that one of the sectors the foundation supports is Jobs and Economic Self-Reliance. By offering services to underbanked communities, this PRI should enable improvements and increase opportunities in the lives of the individuals within those communities. 4,000,000
2 Proxima: This PRI will be utilized to serve individuals from marginalized communities in Utah who face significant barriers to be able to pursue education in healthcare and ultimately a career. This will be done by identifying individuals in marginalized communities and provide them with resources and support throughout their educational/professional journey. This PRI serves the purpose of the foundation in that one of the sectors that the foundation contributes to is Healthcare and Jobs and Economic Self-Reliance. 1,110,000

2024-10-18 1,000,000 Our project is to preserve affordable housing permanently throughout Utah for those that need it most. This ranges from those that are part of our workforce and make lower than 80% of AMI to those that are homeless, affected by domestic violence, displacement from their county (refugees), and veterans in need of affordable housing. The $1M that is being requested (PRI) will go toward the acquisition of housing units to permanently impact the affordable housing in Utah. 0 N/A N/A   N/A
