Part I Line 2 The SVVEA Member Scholarship Fund supports members professional growth by providing reimbursements for conferences training further education or enrichment experiences directly related to their current job assignment. To qualify applicants must be SVVEA members in good standing and show how the activity enhances their role. Reimbursements are awarded only after the member submits receipts and proof of completion. Scholarships do not cover classroom supplies materials re-licensure costs or travel expenses. All applications are reviewed by the scholarship committee to ensure they meet the established criteria and recipients have no ongoing obligations once the reimbursement is issued.
Part III Line 1 Column (b) Recipients are actual members who applied for and received reimbursements during the school year. Each recipient may receive up to $350 per award but will receive less if their expenses are lower. Scholarships are awarded monthly until the total fund cap of $20,000 for the year is reached. The total number of recipients reflects all members reimbursed during this period.
