Explanation

Part I, Line 2:

Procedures for monitoring the use of grant funds: Post governance selects receipients based on long-standing awareness of the recipients' community relationship to Veteran's affairs and the American values Post veterans fought to defend. All assistance is considered and voted on by the Post Board of Directors after discussion with Post membership. Detailed records are maintained for all disbursements for assistance including follow-up by Post leadership with assisted groups.
