1(a) Hosting Saluki Shredfest greatly helped students who waterski at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Without the organization the event would not have been able to happen as the organization was crucial in helping to organize host and complete the event. The organization helped to make improvements to the event site find officials and equipment for the event and run the event a collegiate waterski tournament from start to finish.
2 The membership dues collected were crucial to the organization as those funds directly helped to purchase a boat for use by water skiing students at SIU Carbondale. The purpose of the organization is to support water skiing students at SIUC and these funds were able to help purchase a boat for those students to use.
