AZISA was created as a bridge to a RTO. We host experts at our board and member meetings to explore the benefits of several RTO like entities including the CAISO EDAM market and SPP Markets+. When Arizona utilities ultimately join such entities, the RTO is the next step.Part III Statement of Program Service Accomplishments Line 31bGave multiple presentations regarding the potential benefits of an open transmission andorganized market for all consumers in Arizona. 9/11/13 ruling ended such activitiestemporarily although competition is still Arizona law and transmission access couldresume.
Changes to governing documents Part V line 34 The 5 year extension on the articles of incorporation with the Arizona Corporation Commission lapsed during 2024. Legal guidance was followed to amend the articles of incorporation to reinstate AZISA with its life extended to 9/15/2028.
