Effective June 6, 2024, the Merck MDLI and LTD Trust was terminated.

As of the end of 2020, the Merck Medical, Dental, Life Insurance and Long Term Disability Trust The Merck MDLI and LTD Trust or Trust only held funds available to fund certain retiree medical benefits provided under the Merck Retiree Medical Plan for certain former union and non-union employees and their dependents. The Trust no longer holds assets available to fund certain active employee medical, dental, life insurance and long-term disability benefits provided through the Merck Medical, Dental, Life Insurance and Long Term Disability Plan. Funding of benefits provided under the Merck Retiree Medical Plan for retirees of Merck and its subsidiaries and their dependents constituted all of the activities of the Trust. Effective June 6, 2024, the Trust was terminated.
