Briefly describe the organization’s mission: We provide nonprofit legislative, civic and policy support on environmental and sustainability issues, effectively advocating for protection, restoration and sustainable use of natural resources for the equitable benefit of Kentucky's citizens. We focus on Environmental Public Interest Advocacy including Lobbying and Education on issues before state and local governments and direct engagement with communities.

	Climate/Clean energy Education Project-Promote the benefits of federal climate and resiliency programs. to fellow nonprofits and to the public at large. 11 media stories generated, 1 publication, 3 coalitions, 4 presentations/conferences and staff time. Coalition work with Kentuckians for Energy Democracy, Appalachian and Eastern KY flood and resiliency coalitions. Promotion of "best practices" for large-scale solar siting and working with communities to educate them on their rights on land use and energy projects. Monitoring the Public Service Commission on various utility projects relating to energy rates, water utilities. Work on transportation projects including the promotion of energy infrastructure for electric vehicles and economic development projects such as Kentucky's battery plants. Investigative work on emerging issues such as data centers and crypto-mining operations that impact our energy portfolio. Legislative review on all policies and proposed legislation on these matters and inform the public. Work with state agencies on emerging issues such as carbon capture and sequestration. Work with cities such as Louisville, and statewide reps on implementing federal grants such as Solar for All and decarbonization of the industrial sector. Working with local and state coalitions such as Bluegrass Greensource, Ky. Climate Action Network and more.
