30 Stork?s Nest Community Baby Showers The Stork?s Nest Program is a longstanding national initiative in partnership with the March of Dimes Foundation. For over 50 years, this cooperative effort has promoted prenatal care participation and healthy pregnancy behaviors. The program features two core components: education and incentives. Locally, Epsilon Epsilon Zeta Chapter implements this program by hosting community baby showers, providing NICU baskets, blankets, and essential baby items. We also support other community organizations in hosting similar events and collaborate with the March of Dimes to raise awareness about maternal and infant health. Participants in Stork?s Nest earn points for engaging in health-positive behaviors?such as attending prenatal appointments, participating in educational classes, and adopting healthy lifestyle choices?which they can exchange for maternity and baby care items.
