1 An annual project for this foundation is the Good Samaritan fund which goal is to provide window air conditioning units to people who are living in RVs and trailers in Emmett, ID. Seniors, the infirm, then single parents are the first priority. Recipients were vetted in collaboration with local social services agencies in Emmett, like the Western Idaho Community Action Partnership (WICAP) and the Gem County Recovery Community Center. In 2023 seven families received air conditioners, representing approximately 19 individuals. In addition, the Good Samaritan Fund also provided food assistance, rental assistance, and donations to Emmett Senior Center. 4,000
2 One of the goals of this foundation is to help seniors, low income families and individuals in Emmett enrich their lives at the holidays, which can be lonely times for people without adequate financial resources. To this end gifts, including jewelry, stocking stuffers, school supplies, books and food, are distributed for free through the senior center, low income apartments, and social service agencies. In 2023 free resources were provided with the help of seven different distribution sites. It is difficult to estimate how many individuals were reached, but the numbe 2,539
3 Weekly Sunday morning worship services were planned and led at the Apple Valley Residence, an assisted living facility in Emmett. In addition, in 2003 be-weekly were added for a few months at another assisted living facility. Between 15-20 persons attended these gatherings. Visits with these elderly residents included sharing the sacrament of communion periodically. Approximately 36 people were reached through these 1,641
