Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6 The organization has members which are groups of property owners and business representivities from within the district.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7 A 7 B The orgnizations membership is made up of property owners and business owners in the Westport district. All decisions regarding contracts, expenses, etc. are approved by the Board of Directors at their monthly board meetings or are part of the annual budget approval process
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 8 a 8b The Board meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month. The minutes of each meeting are put in writing and they are approved at the next monthly meeting.
Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 Governing documents and financial statements are not available to the public. The organizations conflict of interest policy is available upon request.
Form 990, Part IX, Line 11g Expenses consist of amounts paid for Security- 1,411,350, Cleaning and beautification of the district- 388,500, Parking management 121,521, Consultant Studies- 30,646.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11a A completed draft copy of the 990 was provided to each board member with a request to review the document, ask questions, and provide any feedback they think is appropriate. After a period of several weeks, all questions, inquiries and suggestions were fielded and any needed adjustments were made. At the conclusion of that process, the 990 for 2024 was then filed.
