By delivering integrated and culturally responsive services, we promote mental wellness, reduce barriers to care, and foster resilience. Our goal is to provide compassionate, person-centered support that helps individuals achieve stability, improve their quality of life, and strengthen connections within their families and communities. Consejo offers a comprehensive range of mental health services, including screening, intake, assessment, treatment planning, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, school-based services, telehealth, psychiatric care, medication management, and mobile behavioral health services. Our services are available for infants, children, youth, adults, and older adults. We also provide support for clients involved in the criminal justice system. Substance Use Disorder (SUD): Consejo's Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Program offers comprehensive outpatient behavioral health and substance use services for individuals of all ages, including youth, young adults, adults, and older adults. Our integrated approach encompasses individual, group, and family therapy; trauma-informed care; psychiatric evaluations; medication management; DUI assessments; and telehealth services. We also provide referrals for housing and employment, as well as school-based prevention, intervention, and treatment for youth dealing with substance use and abuse. Our services are person-centered and culturally responsive, with a focus on each individual's overall well-being and health. Our care coordinators work closely with primary care providers, housing organizations, the criminal justice system, and social services to ensure continuity of care and reduce fragmentation in the system. To engage youth and families, we establish partnerships with schools, offer family-based therapy, and provide developmentally appropriate interventions. With flexible access through telehealth and mobile services, Consejo promotes healing, health, and hope by removing barriers, fostering resilience, and empowering individuals to achieve lasting recovery for themselves, their families, and their communities.Domestic Violence / Sexual Abuse: Consejo's Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Programs provide comprehensive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive support to survivors and their families. Our services integrate behavioral health care, counseling, empowerment initiatives, and wellness activities, all grounded in cultural understanding to ensure safety, respect, and trust. We recognize the immense courage it takes to speak out about abuse, and our dedicated team stands by survivors every step of the way, offering advocacy, education, and personalized care to promote healing and resilience. Through prevention efforts, awareness campaigns, and compassionate therapeutic support, Consejo is committed to helping survivors rebuild their lives and restore hope, health, and empowerment within their communities.Transitional Housing: Consejo operates three unique low-income housing facilities: Mi Casa, Villa Esperanza, and Las Brisas. Each facility is designed to address the specific behavioral health needs of our clients. We are dedicated to providing safe and nurturing environments for homeless individuals with behavioral health conditions, survivors of domestic violence and their children, and those living with chronic mental illness. Our goal is to offer stability, support, and a pathway to a brighter future. Our low-income housing programs integrate safe shelter with comprehensive supportive services, including advocacy-based counseling, legal advocacy, case management, behavioral health services, individual and family therapy, peer counseling, and care coordination. By combining housing with holistic care, Consejo empowers residents to heal, rebuild their lives, and achieve independence within a supportive community.Health and Wellness: Consejos Health and Wellness services provide comprehensive, person-centered care that promotes the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of adults enrolled in our mental health program. Our dedicated team delivers compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each individuals unique needs. Our services include preventive care, health education, chronic disease management, and behavioral health support.
