AS OF AUGUST, 2016, THERE IS A MASTER LEASE AGREEMENT WITH ROPER SAINT FRANCIS HOSPITAL COVERING ALL PROPERTIES HELD BY THE MEDICAL SOCIETY. THE LEASE AMOUNT IS 1:1 COVERAGE FOR THE REVENUE BOND AMORTIZATION ON THE OUTSTANDING BONDS. ONCE THE LEASE CONCLUDES AND ALL PAYMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE, THE PROPERTIES WILL THEN BECOME PROPERTY OF THE ROPER SAINT FRANCIS HOSPITAL GROUP. IN ADDITION, DURING 2022 THE MEDICAL SOCIETY PROVIDED ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIPS TO NURSES AND MEDICAL STUDENTS TOTALING $207,807.
