	The Local Union continues in an ongoing effort to defend and enforce the negotiated collective bargaining agreements for our members wages benefits and working conditions. The membership dues and related income are expended for the purpose of carrying out these activities. The Local Union is continually striving to maintain and improve the wages benefits and working conditions of our members.

Part I Line 2	The Local Union maintains a Hardship Fund for the purpose of assisting members who are met with financial difficulties for specific reasons. Members must voluntarily contribute $1.00 per month to the Hardship Fund to be considered for Hardship Assistance. Union members are eligible for assistance if they are on reduced income or on no pay status due to illness or workplace injury. In order to receive assistance a member must submit a Hardship Application for review by the Local Union Officers. A member does not receive cash but instead submits bills for payment and the Local pays those bills directly to the billing entity on behalf of the member.
Part III Line 1 Column (b)	Any member who contributes to the organizations Hardship Fund, may be eligible for hardship assistance if such member suffers a hardship due to medical, financial, natural disasters, etc. In order to be eligible, such member must fill out a Hardship Assistance Application that is reviewed by the organizations Officers to determine the extent of the hardship and the amount of assistance to be given.

Part I Line 2

Part VI, Section B, Line 1	The Executive Officers make up the governing body. They are the President Financial Secretary Treasurer the organization currently does not have a Treasurer 4 Vice-Presidents Recording Secretary and 3 Trustees. The Executive Officers meet each month to develop recommendations concerning the day-to-day and other activities of the Local Union. They have the authority to act between the monthly membership business meetings but all actions by the Executive Officers must be approved by the members present at such meetings.0
Part VI, Line 6	The organization is a Labor Union with approximately 2477 dues paying members employed by private sector employers and 15 dues paying members employed by public sector employers. All members have equal voting rights on matters concerning the day-to-day business and operations of the organization.
Part VI, Line 7a	\| Class of the Person: Nature of their rights:\| Officers and members in good standing. All members and Officers of the organization have full voting rights to elect persons to the governing body. Officers can appoint persons to the governing body if no one runs for the position during an election or the position becomes vacant during the term. An election does not have to be held to fill a vacancy but appointments by the Officers are subject to approval of the membership at a business meeting.\|
