One of our most successful and sustainable areas of focus is supporting education. Our goal is to help promising students become leaders and experts in fields focused on sustainable change through scholarships. along the way, we hope to cultivate relationships in our community and mentor some outstanding scholars.

	Youth Interact Conference: Interact is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young people ages 12-18. 	Heart to Heart is a program which is a collaborative partnership between 27 Rotary Districts in the US and two Rotary Districts in central Mexico. The purpose of this initiative is to provide humanitarian services, primarily through Rotary Global Grants. Examples of these grants include Kidney transplants, pacemakers, basic learning skill workshops, neurological center equipment, cleft lip and palate surgery equipment, low-cost shelters, positive peace training and development, school renovations, clean water projects, and wheelchairs.

Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6	Rotary International District 6780 has 60 clubs, each of which has members. Altogether we have approximately 2,800 members.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a	The District Governor of District 6780 is selected by a panel of Past District Governors. The District then appoints Rotarians within the District to serve on his/her team. In addition, certain positions of the District Governor's team are elected by the voting representatives of the clubs at our annual business meeting.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7b	Decisions which don't fall within the normal operating procedures of District 6780 are brought forward for a vote at the annual business meeting in the form of resolutions.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b	Form 990 is prepared by the District 6780 Treasurer based on the District's set of financial records. Those records have been made available to all members of the District and reviewed by a Review Committee appointed by the District 6780 Governor (DG.) Their review is presented to the DG and District Finance Committee and is presented to the general membership in summary at the Annnual Business Meeting. Copies of the Form 990 are provided to the DG, District Secretary and the District Finance Chair for comments prior to submission. They have also been given an opportunity to ask questions prior to submission of Form 990to the IRS.
Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19	the District 6780 governing Documents and Financial Statements are made available to the public upon request and are posted to the District 6780 website and via the Form 990 online posting of non-profit returns.
