What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Support and assist La Societe Des Quarante Hommes Et Huit Chevaux, commonly called The 40 and 8, in their Programs. Some of these Programs are Americanism, Child Welfare, Nurses' Training Programs, Carville Star, National Box Car Association, POW/MIA Survivors Scholarship Program and Youth Sports. Form 990-EZ, Part I, Line 10 The Dames of Cabane Locale 1522 support the charitable programs supported by La Societe Des Quarante Hommes et Huit Chevaux commonly called tge Forty and Eight. Monies were donated to Carville Star Donor Fund, which provides for the worldwide distribution of research information on Hansens Disease (Leprosy). Monies were also donated to the Nurses' Training Program which provides tuition scholarships to Nursing Students and also to Child Welfare and Americanism Programs.
