Return Reference	Explanation
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 6	Members in the Island Marina Association shall be those owners of a common interest in the Minge Cove Marina Real Estate at 16 Minge Cove Road in West Alton, New Hampshire. The interest represented by each undivided interest accompanied by one boat slip with the Marina and shall be entitled to one vote, to be exercised by collective agreement if there is more than one owner of such undivided interest.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7a	The number of Board Directors may be changed by vote of the Members at any annual meeting, to take effect for the following year. Members also reserve the right to vote for and elect Board Directors. The Officers of the Association shall review all nominations to the board. No later than one week before the annual meeting of each calendar year, the Members shall notify the Directors that nominations in writing will be received for any of the Directors, whose term is about to expire, to stand for election at the next annual meeting. The Board Secretary or a volunteer shall prepare a ballot of candidates for the position of Director. Nominations for Director also may be made from the floor at any annual meeting. The Directors of this Association shall be elected by ballot at the annual meeting of the Association to serve for two years and until their successors are elected. Their term of office shall begin immediately upon election and qualification. The candidates receiving the largest number of votes shall be declared elected. A Member may cast one vote for each directorship to be filled out but not accumulate and cast for one Director more than a single vote. In the event a Member cannot attend the annual meeting or special meeting, he/she may designate by written and signed proxy a person to exercise his/her right to vote at that specific meeting.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7b	The Association's bylaws may be amended by a 2/3 vote of the Members present at an annual or special meeting, duly warned for that purpose.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11b	The Organizations engages with an independent accounting firm to prepare its annual Form 990. Drafts of the Form 990 are provided to and reviewed by the Organization's Treasurer and other members of the board for their consideration and approval prior to filing.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 15	The Directors of this association shall receive no compensation for their services, as such, except they shall be entitled to reimbursement for reasonable expenses incurred for the fulfillment of duties. Such reimbursement must be approved by a majority of the Board of Directors.
