1(a) The Cherry Blossom Homebrew Competition is an annual event that is open to members and non-members of the club allowing them to receive feedback from certified beer judges on their brews. In 2024 the event received 265 entries from nearly 100 brewers who received critique and valuable insight on their recipes and techniques from how true-to-style their beer was to how to improve their brewing process. It also provides an opportunity for beer judges to maintain their certifications and gain additional experience and credentials. The competition is also an event that introduces volunteers and new members to competition organizing and judging.
