The mission of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the US Auxiliary is to serve and assist the veterans of this country and our communities with a common purpose: to improve the lives of veterans, service members, their families, our communities, and when possible its own members. Pt I Line 2 Program goals, award criteria and type of awards to be granted for the specific program year are prepared and distributed annually to all auxiliary members. Auxiliaries must submit reports detailing all program events and activities which are then monitored by the Department Program Chairman and Program Advisor to ensure the specific goals and criteria are met. At the end of the program year, the Department Chairman will make recommendations to the Awards Review Committee as to who is eligible to receive specific awards and grants.
