PART VI, SECTION A, LINE 6	The AAJ Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Litigation Group is a specialized litigation group operating under the umbrella of the American Association for Justice (AAJ). Membership in the TBI Litigation Group is open to qualified members of the AAJ who meet specific eligibility criteria. Members have the right to participate in the governance of the group, including electing officers during scheduled business meetings. Voting members approve leadership roles such as Chair, Chair-Elect, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and Parliamentarian. These members are also entitled to receive updates on group activities and participate in member-only resources, such as listservs and newsletters. Members do not have equity or ownership interest in the group, and all governance powers are executed in accordance with AAJ bylaws and policies.
PART VI, SECTION A, LINE 7a	Members of the AAJ Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Litigation Group???comprised of eligible attorneys within the American Association for Justice???possess the right to elect officers during the group???s regular meetings, typically held in conjunction with AAJ???s national conventions. Voting members may nominate and elect individuals to serve in officer roles, including Chair, Chair-Elect, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and Parliamentarian. Members may also propose or support motions to remove officers for cause in accordance with AAJ group governance procedures and bylaws. All such actions are subject to AAJ oversight and adherence to the organization???s broader governance structure.
PART VI, SECTION B, LINE 12c	The AAJ Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Litigation Group adheres to the conflict of interest policy established by the American Association for Justice (AAJ). Compliance is monitored by requiring all officers and governing members to annually disclose any potential conflicts of interest. In the event of a potential conflict, the individual must recuse themselves from discussions and votes related to the matter. The AAJ provides oversight to ensure that all group actions remain in compliance with its conflict of interest policy, and any breaches are addressed according to AAJ disciplinary procedures.
PART VI, SECTION B, LINE 11	The Form 990 for the AAJ Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Litigation Group is prepared and reviewed under the oversight of the American Association for Justice (AAJ). A copy of the completed Form 990 is provided to the group???s officers prior to filing. The governing officers are given an opportunity to review the return and provide feedback. Final review and submission are conducted in coordination with AAJ???s financial and compliance teams to ensure accuracy and alignment with AAJ policies and IRS requirements.

Program service activities include hosting meetings during the AAJ Annual and Winter Conventions, publishing newsletters, and maintaining a members-only communication platform.
