Explanation:

As the Treasurer I am responsible for filing the return and the only person within the organization with sufficient knowledge to complete the return. I simply missed the due date due to my personal travel schedule and medical appointments. We are an organization of elderly men (avg age 74) that due their best to be in compliance. We will add the due date to the Club calendar to avoid missing the date going forward. I have filed the return as soon as I was able to.
