THE FOUNDATION UTILIZES BENEVITY, A THIRD PARTY VENDOR, TO OPERATE THE MATCHING GIFTS PROGRAM. AS IS BENEVITY'S STANDARD PRACTICE, AMOUNTS CONTRIBUTED BY THE FOUNDATION AS MATCHING GIFTS ARE PAID TO DONOR ADVISED FUNDS ("DAF"), WHICH, IN TURN, DISTRIBUTE THE FUNDS TO CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS PURSUANT TO PAYMENT RECOMMENDATIONS MADE BY VERTEX EMPLOYEES WHOSE GIFTS ARE BEING MATCHED. AS VERTEX IS A GLOBAL COMPANY, EMPLOYEE DONATIONS TO QUALIFIED ORGANIZATIONS ARE MATCHED BY THE VERTEX FOUNDATION IN FIVE CURRENCIES: USD, GBP, EUR, CAD AND AUD.
