Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6 Members of the Association pay dues through payroll deduction for 18 pay periods beginning September 15 to May 31st.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a Dues paying members have voting rights to elect officers, area reps and building reps, and the right to vote on tentative agreements negotiated by the bargaining team.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7b The executive board has voting rights, and the building representative council votes on budget items and policy revisions. MSEA union members can vote for executive board members and building rep members to represent them. All bargaining unit employees can vote on contracts that are bargained every few years between MSEA and the Mat-Su Borough School District.
