What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Knights of Columbus primary exempt purpose is to provide religious charitable outreach to individuals and families in need of physical medical and spiritual healing.

28 KIND Charities of Tennessee is a Knights of Columbus sponsored 501 c 3 non-profit charity helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities within the state of Tennessee. Knights of Columbus Council 9282 supports this organization through fund raisers and volunteer efforts throughout the fiscal year. Council 9282 has provided donations raised through our Golden Piker Poker Tournament. Additionally Council 9282 has sponsored a barbeque cookout for the Challenger League baseball league. through our volunteer work and donations we are able to outreach to more than 200 individuals and families.
