What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Association is dedicated to the discharge of its responsibilities and the achievement of its objectives in accordance with the democratic principles embodied in the Constitution. The objective of the Association shall be to improve conditions of labor with the United States Postal Service advance the methods used by Rural Letter Carriers and promote fraternal spirit among its members.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 State Meetings are to inform and answer questions to 2,084 rural carrier members of whom want to attend. All eight district meetings have our district representatives inform us on changes and answer all questions to help us succeed. Both our district and national representatives attend our state convention with information we need. We also have guest speakers from management safety and many others who work with rural carriers. Members have the ability to make and vote on constitution changes and resolutions with state and national. Members get to vote for our state board at the convention and vote for national delegates by mail which are both counted and results are read by the committee chairperson.
