	In 2024, VBI operated Kitsap Tourism Committee (KTC) to deliver additional destination marketing services and programs for the broader Kitsap County region. KTC serves as a collaborative conduit, supporting county-wide tourism promotion and economic-development efforts across Kitsap County. Promoting tourism to the greater county also promoted Bainbridge Island as the gateway to the area. Working closely with local stakeholders and lodging partners, KTC coordinated marketing initiatives, visitor-readiness programs, and regional brand development designed to strengthen Kitsap?s collective tourism identity. The organization?s work emphasized alignment, cross-community collaboration, and resource sharing?laying the foundation for a unified county-wide destination-marketing framework in advance of future independent operations.

	Visit Bainbridge Island VBI operates as the official Destination Marketing Organization DMO for Bainbridge Island, Washington. Through collaborative partnerships with other island tourism entities, creating island-wide advertising campaigns, maintaining a robust visitor website and social media, and hosting travel media through familiarization tours, VBI aims to grow Bainbridge Island's visibility leading to increased visitor spending and overnight stays. This in turn creates long-term and sustainable economic growth for the island and its many tourism partners.
