Schedule G, Part II, Line 1

The organization runs an annual golf outing to raise funds for the use of the Divine Child Alumni Association Foundation (Foundation), a related IRC Section 501(c)(3) entity. As part of its tax-exempt purpose of supporting Divine Child High School, a purpose shared with this organization, the Foundation provides funds for tuition reduction and scholarship programs maintained for students at Divine Child High School and this fundraiser is for the primary benefit of such use and purpose. With the exception of retaining certain small amounts of funds to cover anticipated expenses, this organization remits the net proceeds of the outing to the Foundation for its benefit and use and that of Divine Child High School. The current year's fundraiser proceeds were remitted in early 2025 after tabulation of the event's revenue and expense.

The organization only provides financial support to Divine Child High School, including its student and parent clubs, and its supporting charitable organization, the Divine Child Alumni Association Foundation. Both Divine Child High School and Divine Child Alumni Association Foundation are tax-exempt organizations described in Code Section 501(c)(3) and are closely aligned with the filing organization. Divine Child High School is part of the Church of Divine Child which itself is part of the Archdiocese of Detroit. Those organizations are included in the Official Catholic Directory as part of the group ruling issued to the U.S. Catholic Conference of Bishops. Divine Child Alumni Association Foundation is a related entity to the filing organization.
