Our organizations Form 990 for the tax year 2022 was filed after the required due date. The delay occurred because of leadership transitions and the inaccessibility of complete financial data. These circumstances were unexpected and beyond the organizations control. Once the issue was identified the organization acted promptly to complete the return and submit it as soon as possible. To prevent future delays the organization has implemented corrective measures including assigning filing responsibility to the Secretary and improving financial recordkeeping by hiring an outside bookkeeper.
