The Association fulfills its mission by promoting public awareness, consumer and provider advocacy, workforce development, management excellence and leadership, business efficacy and efficiency. The Association is dedicated to continuous quality improvement for its members and provides support to them in carrying out this mission. MHCA offers group purchasing opportunities to member facilities. MHCA represents more than 200 adult day-service providers, assisted living/residential care facilities, home health service providers, independent living/congregate housing providers, nursing facilities, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing providers, along with other (See Continuation on Schedule O, Page 29)organizations and individuals who provide housing, health care and support services to over 10,000 Maine citizens. The Association disseminates professional literature to members, holds professional meetings, conferences, and training sessions, and enrolls members in state and national organizations.
