What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Optimist Mission: By providing hope and a positive vision, Optimists are dedicated to supporting the youth of our community. The Optimist Club of Bismarck, founded in 1971, conducts positive service projects in our community aimed at providing a helping hand and opportunities to youth. Our Optimist Club members help empower young people to be the best that they can be. The Optimist Club "brings out the best in kids!"
